.
Mail Oder, Bulbs will only be sent out from September to the end of March, for some early flowering types it is difficult to send when flowering please contact us in advance for information. sales'alpine-plants.co.uk or Ph. 01575572977
We have many interesting bulbs for the beginner and enthusiast alike, some bulbs are in short supply so it is best to send an E mail or telephone enquiry first to find out current availability.
We send out dormant bulbs from September onwards then pot everything up as soon as growth starts. We will remove growing bulbs and send packed in moss at customers request which will save postage cost especially for overseas customers. Please advise us or contact us for details.

Galanthus. The snowdrops we offer can be sent out in September as dry bulbs and later as pot grown plants until stocks are sold out.

Anemone nemorosa An assortment of mat forming plants for the woodland garden, raised beds and general spring colour.

Erythroniums. A very beautiful group of plants with elegant pagoda shaped flowers which will flourish in a rich woodsy soil amongst trees, shrubs and rhododendrons. Other species are suitable for open alpine gardens and troughs.

Corydalis Pehaps one of the most colourful late winter/early spring bulbs with superb racemes of rich red, pink, violet, white, and other interesting lucky dip seedlings.

Iris. We stock both species and hybrid forms with Iris histrioides and winogradowii making very attractive dwarf species. The dwarf hybrid irises Katharine Hodgkins, Lady Sheila Ann Germaney and George will all survive our harsh winters and provide colour in February and March.

Cyclamen. The hardy cyclamen which will survive here are C. hederifolium, we have several good leaf forms inluding C. hederifolium Silver Cloud. These are best grown around the base of trees and around the edge of Rhododendrons. Cyclamen coum is also hardy and provides a riot of colour in winter these are easy to please almost anywhere we again have several good leaf forms and named cultivars.

Narcissus Dwarf narcissus for the rock garden and around the base of trees, offer their flower in early spring and last for weeks, we also have several good varieties for the cold glasshouse which bring a touch of colour from around Christmas.

Nomocharis, A superb flowering bulb for summer, flowering here in June /July the bulbs are raised from seed and will be variable, these are ideally suited to the cool woodland garden or areas shaded by a fence or a North facing garden. Once established the flower spikes can reach from 1 to 2 meters high with many flowers per spike,we aim to sell only flowering size bulbs but we do not guarantee this.
