A minimum order of 5 plants is requested
Orders will not be held for more than 28 days
All orders are sent out in the order they are received
If we have sold out of a plant when your order arrives we will reduce the amount due accordingly (unless you have selected a substitute).
This site offers a shopping basket system with secure on-line payment. Please go to the Plant List pages. If you would rather order by post, please list your plants and send with payment, including shipping, to the address below.
Please note that under the provisions of the consumer protection act you have 7 days to exercise your right to cancel your order. If you choose to cancel after the goods have been despatched you will be liable for the cost of returning the goods to us. Replacements / refunds will only be made on receipt of the returned goods. The placing of an order indicates acceptance of these conditions.
By their nature, some plants can only be propagated in small numbers and may sell out quickly. We endeavour at all times to keep our list up to date, however, it is inevitable that from time to time some crossover may occur and plants are ordered that are out of stock. Under these circumstances the full value of the plants that are out of stock will be refunded.
Payment for postal orders can be made by post using a credit card or cheque which should be made out to 'Christie's Nursery' and crossed 'Not to Exceed £........' (the total cost of your order plus delivery). These methods allow us to reduce the amount due if a plant requested is sold out when your order is received.
Export orders outside the European Community are accepted but allow for the extra cost of Phyto Sanitary Certificate and postage with both being charged at cost. We recommend payment by Credit Card for these transactions.
Plants will be dispatched when weather conditions permit and will leave the Nursery on a Monday or Tuesday to avoid transit over a weekend. Orders will normally be sent within 30 days of receipt of your order any delay will be notified.
Payment for your order will be processed on the day of dispatch.
Recent increases in delivery charges by the Post Office are significantly higher. For some destinations perhaps it would be a good idea to get together with a friend to share the cost of delivery.
